Peoples History Museum

Visiting Peoples History Museum has made my decision in wanting to complete my project there.
What interested me most in involvement with the PHM is their use of interactivity, like the board games!
Peoples History Museum has many changing exhibitions, with the current Temperance display being a personal favourite and the setting up and taking down of exhibitions in the engine hall would be something I'd like to get involved in.

The temperance exhibition in particular is interesting as has a wide demographic of audience, ranging from children with the fun activities such as the snakes and ladders board on the floor to the informative displays for adults. The realistic temperance bar set up with seating surrounding it gave the exhibition an authentic feel.

It communicates to the public in a number of ways, visually the room is displayed with a wide range of original posters. Similarly, sound and video media is frequently used.
